This episode was pulled because of threats of violence from a radical Islamic terrorist group, Revolution Muslim who objected to a cartoon portrayal of the Prophet Muhammad.
The Sovereign Barony of Nonsuch not only condemns terrorist activities of groups like Revolution Muslim, the barony, and I, it's lord, are deeply disappointed that Comedy Central gave into such threats and therefore gave power to such hateful radicals.
I am reminded of attacks by certain pedantic Christian groups that came out against the Harry Potter book series, claiming it taught children Satanism and witchcraft. I was therefor surprised when I learned a Pentecostal friend of mine was a great fan of the series. When I asked her about her denominations stance on the books her response was;
"I have enough faith in the truth that I have no reason to be afraid of a fantasy."
So, I say to Revolution Muslim, if you truly had faith, why would you care about a cartoon, and I say to you, the Sovereign Barony of Nonsuch does not fear you, so you have no power over it's baron or his people.You are nothing, and I will not only be watching the streaming episode come May 22nd, but do in fact encourage all who read this to watch it as well.
His serene & sovereign lordship,
Wesley,
Baron of Nonsuch
